Breaking (Breakdancing)
Introduction
What Is Breaking?
Also known as breakdancing or bboying, breaking is a dance style that focuses on floorwork and expands beyond some of the ground moves that can be found in hip-hop. It’s most recognisable skills are moves such as head-spins or windmills. Kai found an affinity to this after being exposed to “power moves” — the flashy spinning moves — and seeing the crazy movements that people can not only do, but create in the first place; and upon beginning his journey into breaking, Kai has found the many skill-benefits that come with it.

Additional Information
Another aspect of breaking that can be greatly beneficial is improvised dance, also known as freestyling. This is a benefit that can be enjoyed not only in breaking but all dance styles. Creativity, like strength, is something that is lost when not used, so it requires a degree of maintenance. Improvising your movements and patterns helps to develop your creativity and allow you to create new patterns more easily.
